Troy Davis passed away on
November 28, 2023 after a brief fight with cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends. He will always be known for his funny outlook on life and being a
friend to all who knew him.
Troy Davis was the quintessential stand-up comedian. Troy performed in
over 200 cities in 35 states in all types of venues to include bars, dinner
theaters, corporate events, comedy clubs, arenas and cruise ships. Troy has
opened for DL Hughley, Billy Gardell and Dave Chappell to name a few. His
laid-back approach brought clean family-inspired comedy to the Midwest and
beyond. He had a hilarious view on family situations, marriage, kids and
divorce. Growing up in the 60s in a mixed urban neighborhood, Troy was organic,
original and hysterical. It doesn't matter if the crowd was twenty or seventy;
his funny was funny.
